Angier Appoints Nine Member Advisory Board

NC Main Street staff visited one of our newest Main Street towns (2018) for an annual progress visit. Angier moved up to Main Street from the Small Town Main Street program (2008-2018) in 2018. This year Angier hired a full-time downtown director and recently approved a nine-member advisory board. The town will begin the strategic planning process, this month in order to plan for a thriving downtown.

Three murals are scheduled to begin this spring. A partnership between local child care facilities will host an Easter Egg Hunt in downtown. Several new businesses are opening downtown, including a Mexican restaurant.
