Karen Johnson is the kind of citizen every town would love to have! She is a strong advocate for protecting the integrity and culture of the community, will help wherever there is a need and is a connector that brings people together who need to know one another but haven’t met yet. She is loyal, tenacious and loves the Town of Waxhaw. Karen’s efforts as President of the Waxhaw Entrepreneurs Business Incubator have directly led to the creation, expansion, or location of many small businesses in Downtown Waxhaw. She also takes many little ideas or needs and creates something bigger that is for the greater good, such as the July 4th parade, the American Legion Military Wall, the Art Alley beside the Niven Price Building, and so much more. She is a true Champion of Main Street in Waxhaw!
